ROMANS 12 – 1, 2
I – I beseech you therefore, brethren by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
2 – And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
God’s will is His word – Jesus said John 10-10 “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.’’
Abundantly means – in abundance, in large quantities, plentifully, richly, lavishly … So, you see that God’s plan is for us to live a wonderful life while here on this earth. To be able to live such a rich, lavishly life one has to be healthy, it is our responsibility to make sure that our bodies (God’s temples) get the proper nourishment and exercise to keep us strong and healthy.
